General conditions of business (AGBs)
The Consortium Dr. Berer (consisting of the Salzburger Festungskonzerte GmbH, the Salzburg Stadt-Schiff-Fahrt GmbH & co KG, Dr. Berer KEG and Dr. Erich Berer) noted as "operator", sets forth the following "General conditions for business" as the foundation for the legal business. Trade for all business transactions connected with internet bookings.
Cancellation of tickets and liabilities:
Previously purchased tickets can not be cancelled unless there are compelling provisions of the KSchG (Consumer protection law) that apply. It is expressly noted that the consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 7 working days following the receipt of the merchandise or the finalization of the contract. If the customer wishes to rescind the transaction and is within the legal rights of the consumer protection law, a refund will be made accordingly. The consumer agress to pay for any return shipping / mailing costs connected with this refund. It is also noted that tickets will be refunded minus a 20 % commission fee. The operator is only a broker for the admission tickets and is not liable for the refund of admission fees upon cancellation. The operator will however attempt to bring about a refund from the event organizer. No claims can be made for compensation of expenses such as hotel lodging, travel costs, etc. arising from the cancellation(s).
Programm changes, cast changes, or program starting time changes do not qualify for a refund or a possible price reduction: No compensation will be paid out to the consumer for additional expenses incurred by these changes, such as hotel lodging expenses, travel expenses etc. in regard to your boat-cruise program we wish to note that when high or low water levels occur boat operations will be halted. The tickets will keep their validity and will also be refunded upon request of the consumer, for the full value of the ticket.
No liability will be accepted or compensation be made for expenses or additoinal charges incurred by the consumer due to the cancellation of a cruise.
Cancellation of hotel reservations:
No cancellation fees apply up to 10 weeks prior to arrival. Unless there are compelling provisions of the KSchG (Consumer protection law) that apply cancellations of less than 10 weeks are subject to payment of the entire hotel lodging bill. It is expressly noted that the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 7 working days following the finalization of the contract.
Prices and payment terms:
Effective prices are shown in the offers. These prices are subject to change without notice. Payments are to be made promptly at the time the orders are placed or after billing has been received, and without deductions. Charges accrued through a bank transfer incurred are the sole responsibility of the consumer and are to be reimbursed to the operator.
Shipping coste:
For postal expenses € 7,00 will be charged for foreign countries respectively € 5,00 will be charged for domestic postage.
Miscellaneous:
Additonal agreements require written documentation to be legal.
